ProDiff has the highest standards of any coaching platform. We don't use the word "pro" lightly. We require all coaches to have reached high Challenger in solo queue and competed in a Riot-sponsored Tier 1 or Tier 2 competition. For example, in North America, the only qualifying experience is LCS or NACL. In Europe, it is LEC or EMEA Masters. When you book a session on ProDiff, you can be confident that your coach has the necessary knowledge and experience to help you because they've proven it at the highest levels of competitive play.

Learning League of Legends on your own means spending countless hours sifting through generalized guides, videos, and tips.

For newer or lower-ranked players, this is especially frustrating because it's nearly impossible to separate good advice from clickbait. If you want some help along the way, it's extremely challenging to evaluate which coaches have the appropriate qualifications and which options actually involve undivided, personalized attention from coaches.

For elite players, you already know the fundamentals covered in most content. The margin for error grows smaller as you climb higher, and you need micro-optimizations tailored to the specific weaknesses in your play.

One-on-one coaching on ProDiff cuts to the heart of what you specifically need to know to improve. An hour or two of coaching from a pro can save you weeks of trial and error trying to distill a concept or identify a gap that a pro can spot and explain immediately. And with ProDiff's requirement that all coaches reach high Challenger and have experience at the highest levels of competitive play, you can be confident that coaches know what they're talking about.

Coaching on ProDiff starts at $35/hour (all prices are in USD). We're proud to make coaching from some of the strongest pros in the world accessible at a reasonable price. With ProDiff, you no longer have to risk your time and money with an underqualified coach.

During your coaching session, which takes place via 1-on-1 voice channels in ProDiff’s Discord, your selected coach will review your gameplay and provide advice on the most effective ways for you to improve. Depending on the length of the scheduled session, your coach may be able to review more than 1 of your games, so it's recommended to provide your coach with at least 2 VODs or replays to be safe. There are 3 ways coaches can review your gameplay:

1. VOD Review (recommended). Your coach will review a pre-recorded video-on-demand ("VOD") of your point-of-view during a game. This gives your coach the most visibility into your gameplay.
2. Replay Review. If you don't have a VOD, don't worry. Your coach can also review a replay file from a recent game that you've played. Make sure that the games you'd like your coach to review are within the last 20 games played on the account listed on your ProDiff profile and were played on the most recent patch. Let your coach know which games you'd like them to review via ProDiff's Inbox or Discord!
3. Live Coaching. If you don't have a VOD or any eligible replays, your coach will provide real-time advice while you play a live game during your scheduled session.

Sessions are held on the ProDiff Discord. Join the waiting room voice channel before your session start time so that your session can begin promptly.

Recording a VOD:

Before your next game, install a screen capture program, such as OBS or Ascent. Make sure to enable the screen capture program at the beginning of the game you’d like to record. After your game, upload the video file to YouTube. Make sure you have a verified phone number on your YouTube account, as the video will be longer than 15 minutes.

Sharing a VOD with your coach:

You can share a VOD with your coach at the time of booking or at any time before your lesson.

• If you have the VOD ready before booking, share the video link with your coach in the "Additional Information" field.
• If you are creating the VOD after booking, you can share the video link with your coach via ProDiff's Inbox or via Discord (all coaches are members of ProDiff's discord) and you’re all set. If you run into any problems along the way, please contact ProDiff staff via our Discord.

I don't have any VODs:

If you don't have any VODs, don't worry. Just let your coach know via ProDiff's Inbox or Discord DM which of your past 20 games you'd like them to review (e.g. Please review the Malzahar game I played on January 1, 2025 where I went 5/3/8). Make sure the games were played on the most recent patch!

You can contact your coach via ProDiff's on-site messaging or via Discord.

• ProDiff Messaging: After booking a session, go to your inbox (available on the top bar). Click on your coach's name and type your message into the box below.
• Discord: Join ProDiff's Discord server here. Find your coach's name (they'll have a coach role) and send them a direct message.

• Cancellation Policy: Once a coach confirms a booking, student cancellations will not be refunded. If you’d like to request an exception to this policy, please contact our team.
• Rescheduling Policy: Reschedule requests will be honored solely at the discretion of ProDiff. Please contact our team in order to request a reschedule.
• Refund Policy: No-show students are not eligible for refunds. A student failing to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled session start time will count as a no-show. If a coach cancels at any time or does not attend the scheduled lesson, the student will be refunded. If a student is not satisfied with the quality of their coaching, they can contact our team via Discord or email within 24 hours of the scheduled session end time in order to request a refund. Requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

ProDiff is transparent about our fees. We charge students a 6% fee and coaches a 10% commission on earnings. So, for a session listed at $50, the student will pay $53, and the coach will receive $45. ProDiff receives $8, which covers payment processing and site operations.
